The history of the Midtown Cultural District, et al

In 1989, a developer proposed a 16-story tower to be built beside and on top of the Tremont Temple Baptist Church, on Tremont Street, next to the Omni Parker House.

Here is a background on the building and the neighborhood, which is near the Ladder(s) District, Park Street District, and Midtown Cultural District (sic).

There are eleven sections to this; each is a .png file but should open large enough to view. The files are from a great proposal put out by the co-developer of the Tremont Temple Baptist Church project and submitted to the Boston Redevelopment Authority.
